PAS DE TROIS“A Colorado-made coming-of-age feature film about identity, isolation, and the people who help us find our way back.”
Three teenagers. Three separate lives. Three downward spirals. One shared realization.
Sometimes the people trying hardest to hide their pain are the ones who need connection most.

THE Story
What is “Pas De Trois”?
Pas De Trois follows three high school students navigating vastly different lives while wrestling with the same invisible struggle: disconnection.
Mav hides behind confidence and popularity while quietly battling self-hatred.
Vista has spent years protecting a carefully crafted image until a painful truth leaves her completely alone.
Scuff drifts through a cycle of addiction, isolation, and self-destruction after pushing away the people who cared about him most.
As each story unfolds from its own perspective, their lives reveal a shared truth:
The masks we wear to survive can eventually become the walls that separate us from the people trying to help.
Visualized in a vibrant, cathartic, and inventive style, the film interweaves each character’s stories with emotional precision, creating a cinematic experience that is intense, intimate, and widely relatable.
At it’s core, the story is a cathartic expression of mental health, generational trauma, and the intense emotions of adolescence expressed through a wide range of perspectives, offering a unique, marketable voice in the coming-of-age realm.
Through friendship, accountability, loss, and redemption, Pas De Trois explores what happens when young people are forced to confront the identities they've built and decide whether they are willing to change before it's too late.
WHY THIS FILM MATTERS MORE THAN JUST ENTERTAINMENT
“Every year, young people face increasing levels of isolation, anxiety, substance abuse, and mental health challenges.”
Pas De Trois does not preach.
It does not provide easy answers.
Instead, it tells an honest story about what many young people experience but rarely talk about.
The film was written to spark conversations between friends, families, educators, and communities about the importance of connection, vulnerability, and asking for help.
By supporting this project, sponsors are helping create meaningful independent art while investing in conversations that matter.
WHY WE'RE FILMING IN COLORADO
Built By Colorado Creatives
We're committed to producing Pas De Trois in Colorado with local filmmakers, local businesses, local talent, and local locations.
Our goal is to showcase the creativity, culture, and character of Northern Colorado while creating opportunities for emerging artists and industry professionals.
Production will utilize local vendors, businesses, and community partnerships whenever possible.
Because great stories shouldn't have to come from Hollywood.
Sometimes they come from right down the street.
Humanity keeps waiting for someone else to tell important stories. Turns out it's usually a bunch of sleep-deprived creatives with cameras and questionable caffeine habits.
